Our Steel-Backed Timber Guardrail has been designed and crash tested for
highway use. This system is very aesthetically
pleasing to the eye and is in use around the
country. All components are manufactured to
meet federal highway administration standards.
Wood components are treated with CCA to
retention of 0.60 pounds per cubic foot for long
lasting protection. The wood can be left to weather
naturally or may be stained or painted to meet
your needs. For ease of installation, we can attach
the steel backing plate to the wood rail, saving
you time and money in the field. The steel components are
available in both galvanized or corten (weathering steel).
